La Sayona, the 'weeping woman', is a wandering ghost with the figure of a beautiful woman with long hair who wanders the streets wearing a long white dress in Latin America especially Venezuela...

The name "Sayona" refers to the cloth the ghost wears which is a long white dress similar to a medieval undergarment.

It also refers to the French term "sayon" that means executioner.

After a misery, she was cursed to spend all of eternity roaming the plains avenging all women whose husbands have been cheating on their wives.

She often appears on highways and takes the lives of men who stop to give her a ride a cigarette, or something else....

Eventually, after talking for a few minues, when the victim looks at her face he sees a skeleton with rotted teeth. She will attack and attempt to kill him.

All unfaithful men die with their eyes wide open in fear, and those who weren't unfaithful keep their lives, but remain impotent for the rest of their lives....

Women hope that this story will make their men think twice before straying...
